The Freethinking School is a community of children, educators and families inspired by Montessori principles. We create calm, prepared environments where children are free to explore, concentrate, and grow into confident, independent thinkers.
We saw children who were capable, curious and full of potential, yet placed in environments that rushed them, compared them and limited their natural love for learning.
Montessori showed us a different way one that respects the child, nurtures independence and builds confidence from within.
The Freethinking School was born from our desire to create that kind of environment for every child.

Our first Montessori classroom opened with a small group of children and a big dream.

More families joined our journey, strengthening our community and our purpose.

We expanded to new campuses, creating more prepared environments for children to thrive.

Through the Freethinking Foundation and Montessori on Wheels, we began bringing Montessori to more children and communities.
Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding of how children naturally learn and grow. Every choice we make from our environments to our interactions reflects respect for the child and trust in their potential.

We honor each child as a unique individual with their own pace, interests and potential. Respect is the foundation of every interaction.

Children are empowered to do things for themselves, building confidence, self-discipline and a strong sense of capability.

Through concrete experiences and sensory engagement, children move from the tangible to the abstract, creating deep and lasting learning.

We offer the freedom to explore and choose, within clear limits that help children develop focus, self-regulation and responsibility.

Children learn from and support one another in a multi-age environment that nurtures empathy, leadership and collaboration.

We are committed to preserving the integrity of Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision. Our environments, educators and practices are intentionally designed to support independence, concentration and a lifelong love for learning.

Our educators are FTTA trained and deeply committed to understanding the child through observation, guidance and respect.
